  • LAW OF ARMED CONFLICT

      DEFENCE SECTOR SUPPORT AND UNIVERSITY-ACCREDITED TRAINING

      Pavocat’s world-class leaders and instructors provide gold-standard International Humanitarian Law (‘IHL’) advice, training, monitoring and verification to armed forces, gendarmeries, and private military contractors (‘PMCs’).  Our work enhances their professionalism and aims to ensure compliance and restraint in the most challenging of situations.

      Our IHL training in Human Rights and the Law of Armed Conflict means:

      States can: (1) participate in peace-keeping missions, (2) secure access to international funding, and (3) acquire equipment that would otherwise be denied to them.

      Defence companies can gain access to new markets and sell to those States; and

      PMCs are more likely to be engaged than those contractors who only subscribe to the Voluntary Principles.

      Our IHL training is provided around the world and is accredited by Stellenbosch University.
