Axel Knospe was the Country Chairman of Royal Dutch Shell in Tanzania for 8 years until 2019, and previously worked at a high level for Shell in the Middle East for over a decade.
Based in Dar Es Salaam with his African wife and family, he has established an independent consultancy in Tanzania and is retained by several African governments to advise them on their negotiations and relationships with oil and gas companies.
